YEMCo Business Trip USA 2014 |
Du 30 mars 2014 au 4 avril 2014
Our work within YEMCo allows us to continuously address important issues challenging the meat sector. This year’s spring edition marked a series of firsts in YEMCo’s history: the first time our YEMCo friends travelled to the USA for their gathering and the first time they’ve experienced the business trip format.
This 25th edition will set a before and after on the YEMCo activities timeline. This new format allowing young entrepreneurs to spend more time together during the visits and meeting and interacting with representatives of the meat sector (bovine, pork, lamb) was very successful.
Our long time supporting partners were also part of the trip and managed to bond with YEMCo’s delegates in a more organic way than previously: sharing meals; organising visits for the delegates, presenting their materials on site and being part of the group.
Visits
Thanks to the very efficient USMEF organisation and their network of companies who warmly welcomed our young meat entrepreneurs (Superior Lamb plant, JBS, Tony’s meat , Aristocrat Angus Ranch, IPPA, Hy Vee, Fairways, Iowa University Meat Laboratory) and showed much generosity in sharing best practices with them.
